We need your help! Walkers are encouraged to join us along the way. Business and individual Supporters can donate money and/or food and other supplies. It is amazing how many folks in the State of Michigan do not know about the metallic sulfide mining that is being proposed in the Upper Peninsula. Multi-national mining companies, like Kennecott Minerals company, are proposing nickel, copper, and uranium mines. Our goal is to raise public awareness of the threats of metallic sulfide mining to the Yellow Dog Plains and to our Great Lakes Waters. Please consider becoming a sponsor of "The Walk" by donating:
